"This week we have made a variety of "cool things" with a variety of "cool people".
My name is Freddie and I'm at Heart Reach for work experience.
After working at heart reach for a week I have realised that people with mental health problems really aren't that different from you or me, they seem to me like normal people and I couldn't tell they had anything different to cope with for the first couple of days .
Going to heart reach has opened up my eyes and has made me think about how people can treat people recovering from mental health problems like 2nd class citizens and how heart reach doesn't do that.
This week we have made a variety of "cool things" with a variety of "cool people".
I believe that working here has been a really good experience for me and I had loads of fun.
Heart Reach is one of the good charity's out there.
This week Freddie has transformed our vintage suitcase into a "Shop in a Box" for us to put in Boyden's Kitchen in Barnet.
He has learnt how to make decoupage.
He taught us all how to French knit after researching it on the internet.
He made healing balm and bath tea bags
And finally....he created a wonderful Teddy Tombola!
Thank you Freddie for all your hard work, we have loved having you
